I HAD FUN with KARA

What can I say, Derek & I met Kara for b/fast & then we did some scrappy shopping. Since Derek had a doctor's appointment, he left me in Kara's capable hands for some shopping therapy. =) We first went to Dillard's and I bought some really pretty lipstick and a bottle of Miracle. We then went to a LSS and I bought a Glimmer Screen stencil and some Sheer Mist. After that, we went for more "scrapping" therapy at Hobby Lobby & JoAnns. I bought some pretty lace and pearls at JoAnns for the pages I am scrapping of my Grandmother. Kara bought some things for Kaleb's scrapbook and then gave them to me because she said she would never get them finished. I gladly took the items because I already printed the pics for Kaleb's album. I will be a busy little scrapper because I have soooo many things I need to finish & start. I have Kaleb's album, 3 albums for Ryan, 3 albums for Samantha and I will have Callie added to the list this next year. I do not mind scrapping for all my nieces, nephew and lil' cousins because the scrapping is GREAT therapy for me. =) While we were out, Kara & I kept up {texting} with our moms because they are in Florida at Grandmother's funeral. Our moms were headed to the beauty shop to have their hair fixed and we were horrible daughters and told them to make sure they did not end up with helmet hair. My aunt texted back and said they did not have helmet hair. One of my other aunts texted to let us know she made it to the airport and picked up our Uncle Charles. We were not sure if would be able to make it to the funeral, but very happy when we heard he had made it. My mom will be home tomorrow evening and I am glad for that. I have missed her terribly and just want to give her a BIG hug!!! Derek & I are headed a bit north tomorrow because I want to go and visit with his parents & MaMa. We were not able to make MaMa's 96th Birthday in March, so we will go visit her tomorrow. =)
